Curriculum from the manual French for the Young Child, which includes vocabulary, rooms in the house Review from Preschool - colors, counting 1 – 20, parts of the body, the alphabet, etc. All learning is oral and is reinforced by pages to color and hands-on in the classroom. Physical Education: Locomotor Skills: Students will work on the following skills: running, skipping, hopping, sliding, jumping, galloping,
and leaping.
Manipulative Skills: Here students will work on the following movement patterns: kicking, punting, dribbling with the feet (soccer dribble), overhand throwing, catching, and dribbling with hands (basketball dribble). Demonstrate full range of motion in leg swings and stretches, basic locomotor skills and good posture. Practice safe use of playground equipment, participate in physical activities and demonstrate good sportsmanship Computer: Learn to open and close programs without assistance.
