Carden Has Three Winners in the Celebrating Art Contest

We are pleased to announce that Carden Academy had three winners in the CelebratingArt.com contest. They are Avina Pandit in 4th  grade, Lisha Sebastian in 5th grade and Victoria Taylor in 7th grade. These students’ artwork will be published in a Celebrating Art hardcover book. Congratulations to all!

Carden Students Do a Great Job Participating in the Hour of Code

Last year everyone at Carden was introduced to Code.Org. During the week of December 9 students from kindergarten to eighth grade participated in the Hour of Code organized by Computer Science Education (http://csedweek.org/). The students did an hour of coding related activities and were recognized for their outstanding work.

Carden Girls Finish Third in Their League for Volleyball

The Carden girls’ volleyball team finished third in their league with a record of 7 wins and 8 losses. Miss Crystal Gable coached the team this year. Rebekah Kaufman and Evan Heath both received Most Valuable Player awards and Ashna Perumal receive the Heart of the Colts award.
